Full course description
Intrapreneurship and Product Management
Course Overview
In this course, you’ll dive into the real-world of intrapreneurship and uncover what it takes to build—and thrive in—a company culture that supports innovation from within. You won’t just learn definitions; you’ll explore how intrapreneurial projects are launched, managed, and sustained, and how bringing your ideas to life can lead to greater job satisfaction in organizations that value growth through collaboration.
Along the way, you’ll learn to differentiate between entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship, analyze how various organizational structures either support or hinder innovation, and identify promising market opportunities for new product development. You’ll also gain hands-on experience developing financial projections for intrapreneurial ventures—equipping you with the skills to move from idea to impact.
You’ll also explore a new model of leadership—one where leaders focus on creating environments that unlock the full potential of their teams. And if you're already in a leadership or management role, this course will serve as a practical guide to steering new product ideas from concept to market.
What to Expect
This course is divided into four sections, each designed to build your knowledge and skills step by step. Throughout the course, you’ll complete video lectures, assigned readings, and interactive activities that reinforce key concepts. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in live, expert-led sessions for deeper insight and real-time engagement. At the end of each section, you’ll complete a short assignment to apply what you’ve learned. All four assignments must be completed to pass the course and earn your badge.
